Hi all,

After I listen to podcasts/watch some video on my iPhone, iTunes won't remember that I did so. After I sync when I get home from work, it doesn't show that X podcast episode has been played through or is halfway through or anything. It just reverts everything back to the state it was when I left in the morning, like I never played anything. It's a pain in the butt to try and find my place through an 1.5 hour podcast. I've tried a restore from backup for the phone, I'd rather not try a fresh restore unless that seems to be the only way.

Thoughts?

I've got the same issue, and I've tried _everything_.
This is on my iPhone 3G 2.2 and iTunes 8.0.2.20 on a Windows computer.

Usually no; iTunes checks for new content on the podcasts I'm subscribing too and automatically downloads new episodes. I have sometimes manually used 'Update Podcast', but if I remember correct I had the same issues.

This only happend when I got the iPhone, never had the issue with my old iPod.
