I took my iPhone to the genius bar to get the screen looked at because there was dust under the screen so I wanted to see what they would do. Before I went, I backed up my iPhone just in case I got a new phone, which I did. When I got back I restored my phone using my backup and I got all my photos, contacts, settings, everything except my text messages. I've tried restoring many times, and I've also restored the phone as a new phone and then tried restoring it with the backup. I keep getting everything else except my texts. To check if the backup contained my texts, I extracted the "sms.db" file from the backup and opened it using SQLite browser and found every single text so the backup does contain them.
Why won't it restore my texts? And how can I restore my texts? Thank you.
