Right. Got hold of an iPod Nano 2GB (1st Gen) and its in Windows format. iTunes wont even acknowledge its there. When connected iTunes loads up, but nothing else.

I've reset the ipod more times than I can remember, tried to do a auto diagnostic, doesnt have that option, but seems ok...

I've tried a different USB port...nadda

The only thing it does is load up is as a removeable device on my desktop.

Also, Disc Utility sees it. Can I wipe it under Disc Utility? :confused:

kk... I read that you couldnt do that, so didnt want to do it. but, I'll take your word for it :rolleyes:
