OK, so I had a 3GS that I synced all my TV shows to, they are all converted from DVDs using Handbrake, and I had every last one sunk to the 3GS at one time or another. So now I'm using a 3G and when I go to sync, a handful of about 4 work, and the other 30 don't. It keeps saying this video format is not supported on iPhone XXX. ANy ideas? I really don't want to reconvert, especially since it worked on my 3GS. THanks

I don't know why they would sync to your 3G and not your 3GS but you can try the convert to iPod or iPhone version in iTunes and that should work. For future reference, I think it's best to use the Iphone preset in Handbrake as a starting point and then fine tune your settings from there, apparently the iPhone is fussy about the b-frames. Don't really understand it but the method works for me.

I may give that a shot. But I did convert in the iPhone preset in Handbrake, and they've played on the 3GS for almost a year, no changes. Weird.
