I have itunes 9.2.1(5). I would LOVE the new itunes, however I am using a macbook osx 10.4.11 and do not have the $$$ to upgrade. So I am stuck with my current itunes...

When I plug my phone in and press the update button in itunes (it says: an update is available for the iphone) a pop up comes up that says "This version of Itunes is up to date".

So I have no way to update my phone and it really needs it.

I had this problem before and solved it by re-installing itunes. However, now that the new version is out and it doesn't run at all on 10.4.11 I am screwed.

Unless someone else knows something that I dont...
I dont want to give apply any more of my money!!!

Anyone....?????

I think that upgrading OS X is your only option, if you want to upgrade iTunes on that machine.
