After reinstalling OS 7.5 three days ago, and upgrading to 7.5.11 my iTunes won't work. A message tells me I must have Quicktime 7.5.2. My system has 7.2.2, dating from 2007.

The Apple download center doesn't provide Quicktime installs. It informs users that Quicktime can only be installed along with a complete System.

The System Preferences control panel screen for Quicktime isn't much help either. Clicking 'Update' takes you to a URL that no longer is online.

Sooo, what does a guy do?

Sim it is only up to 10.5.8 point release there is no .5.9 for leopard...

Tiger is at final 10.4.11.

NOT FOR ME, I HAVE A SPECIAL 10.5.9 VERSION WITH AN AUTOGRAPH BY LEE MAYORS. Or my brain was just too drunk from all the food (no drinking involved, as I was celebrating with people, who don't consume any drugs besides cigarettes), thus I couldn't remember the correct version. And as 10.3.9 was my first last Mac OS X version, I hold it dearly ingrained in my membrane.

Haven't I warned you before about the health dangers of drinking cigarettes? :D

And you think me weird? On what Earth are you currently residing? Lunatic.

Anyway, cigarettes is the natural drug of addicts, especially ones with a history of multiple drug abuse. It is the drug, that is legal and does not inebriate one, and the death is still some decades away, unlike with alcohol or Schore.

Thanks to all of you. That did the trick. So that I can learn to be more self sufficient, how in the heck does an average guy find fixes like that one in the Apple Downloads center>

I struck out doing a System Update, and did no better on Apple>Downloads>Quicktime.

There's a search bar in the Apple Downloads centre. Between that and Google, anything Mac OS X related can be found.
