So i encountered this problem with iTunes, when i try to add music such as a folder, it adds the folder as a playlist, but also adds to the library.

Anybody have the same issues or have any suggestions?

Dunno, but you can delete the playlist just by pressing backspace, so what's the big deal?

Wouldn't that be the way it's supposed to work?

You can't have items in a playlist that aren't in the library as well.

iTunes shouldn't create a playlist if you add the files via [cmd+o].
Moved away from drag & drop a while ago

i know that, but this has never happened before, normally it justs adds the album to the library

this just happened to me. I thought it was odd until I saw there was an .m3u file in there, that would create the playlist.
