wouldnt it be great if we could get songs off the itunes music store over 3g? other phones can do it cant they, is it the artists who are stopping it?

i saw on engadget a while ago that its the record labels who want extra for over the air downloads or something..
would be brillaint because wifi music store isnt all that portable, you have to go out of your way to get a song, weather i would use a 3g version much more, would be superb. even if it had a capped download limit or speed that would still be good.

Well, they are allowing the download of apps under 10mb over 3G, and seeing as most song files are under 10mb there's definitely room for something to be worked out in the future. However, i highly doubt we will see this at the launch of the 3G iPhone.
