iTunes7.7 to restore 1.1.4?

I was just wondering if i decided to restore one my 2G phones to 1.1.4 can i do it with itunes7.7? Or do i need to reinstall iTunes 7.6.2.9?

Well, i tried iTunes 7.6.2.9 with 1.1.4 and never had any problems

No, i mean i restored 1.1.4 again to 1.1.4 using itunes7.6

Sounds like you use it that way, not downgraded. If that was the case, this question would have been asked.
