North of where I'd like to be
On my new MBP dual core, iTunes opens iTunes store in Japan. I'm in Canada; my prefs are set for U.S. Not that I didn't like the disorienting feeling, and I figured out that I had to scroll down to my usual U.S. store, but still....is Japan the default store for iTunes?

I don't know if this is a permanent fix, but there's a pop-up menu at the bottom of the iTunes store page to pick your language. I know this is a bug in iTunes 7 for some people.

thanks, maxrobertson, I had actually fixed it that way, but I was just curious as to whether this was a bug or some sort of Japanese kung fu;) After reading some of the other posts, sometimes the store opens on France as well.

It was a bug when first released but it seems to have died down on these forums at least. So my guess is once you reset it to where you want it stays that way.

I personally never had the problem.
