iTunes8 - Airport Express sound drops

Hi, I'm running OS X 10.4.1 on an Intel iMac. I also have an Airport Express which I use to stream music from my iMac to my hifi system. Since I migrated to iTunes 8 the sound drops after some songs. At the moment the sound drops, the "progress bar" in iTunes continues, so iTunes itself continues playing the song but there's no sound coming out my hifi speakers... I never had any problems with iTunes 7 (6). There's no error message...

Can someone please help me out?
