iPod touch iTunes8/Touch crashes on synch

Hey guys,

I updated to 2.1 and iTunes8 this morning and everything seemed to go fine. Next time I plugged in and it tried to synch, it crashes almost immediately. I get some sort of unknown erroe 13136, then iTunes shuts down.

I've uninstalled then reinstalled iTunes, I've restored my Touch, but the error is still happening.

I'm not sure what to do/try next.

Any ideas/suggestions/etc will be very much appreciated!

I'm having the same problem but I am getting a blue error screen then my PC crashes. And this happens anytime I plug in my iPod (with 2.1). Didn't happen before iTunes 8. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like some people over at the Apple Discussions were having the same problem too. http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=8051534

Though they appear to have resolved theirs, i've had no luck.
