I am trying to get my itunes music from my old HP to my new Mac Pro. I copies the itunes folder from the old computer to an external drive and then i copied that into the itunes folder on my new mac pro replacing existing files with the ones from my HP version of itunes. I see all my music , movies and TV shpows however, there are none of my playlists. How do i get itunes to recognize whatever file it needs to that has all my playlists, list counts, rating, etc. for my songs.

Thank you

Right click on your playlists on your old iTunes, export it. Move those text files to the new laptop.

In your new iTunes, Files -> Library -> Import Playlist. Viola!

And Ratings & Counts

That is great on the playlist what about the couints and ratings I gave to all my music? And the songs that were checked for my wife's account versus the songs that were checked for my account?
