i'm currently on IUP for my 11 Pro Max, will most likely upgrade to 12 Pro Max next month, and i'm already eligible to upgrade. if i decide to keep my current phone, then how should i go about this? and in what order?

1. pay off current phone
2. sign up a new IUP account when 12 comes out

or

1. re-up my IUP under current phone for the 12
2. pay off my 11 with citizen bank (do i have to notify apple if i go this route?)

Keep in mind paying off 11 Pro Max and sign up new iUP will be another hard credit pull.

Best option is probably Option 2.

thanks, with option 2, apple will mail me the kit to ship my 11 back, do i just ignore that and pay my 11 off directly with citizen one?

There won't be a 12 Pro Max next month. Its going to Nov if you're lucky. Im still saying Dec. Apple screwed up and are way behind this year.

I haven't done it personally, but yes that would be the route to go through. Ignore the return kit and pay off the loan with citizens. A call to Apple when the time comes to confirm if that would work wouldn't be a bad idea. Or see if anyone else has gone through that route. I would just be concerned how Apple gets notified that you paid off the loan vs Apple not getting the iPhone back and tells Citizens to take payments again for it.
