Has anyone who upgraded today checked their Citizen's One account? I'm curious when the old loan will show as paid. Currently mine still shows a balance of ~$400.

Same here. Probably just needs processing time. I'll check again next week.

If you look on your receipt you got in store today, it shows near the middle of it the remaining balance on the loan, then below that it shows the loan payoff amount, which is the same as the remaining balance, since you handed your previous device back to them.

I agree it will take a few days to show up in their system.

My receipt doesn't show that. The lady doing mine seemed like she didn't know what she was doing. I hope she didn't mess up and now I just have two loans.

I have the receipt for my iPhone 6s but I'm not sure how I would prove I returned it. Hopefully someone is going to go through the stack of phones returned today and make sure they're all accounted for.

My receipt says citizen one loan payoff and the payoff amount.

Great... I'm on the phone with the Apple Store I did this at. Looks like it didn't get done correctly. :(

Confirming that at the end of the receipt is your OLD phone loan with serial number + Citizen's one payoff amount & loan number.

Confirmed with my local store that the specialist did the return incorrectly. She basically skipped that step.

Manager is researching how to fix it. It could come down to me having to return the phone and then repurchase it.

Supposed to hear something back from them by tomorrow afternoon. Luckily they did find my old phone in their stack, kind of impressed by that.

Got my issue resolved. I had to go back to the Apple store so they could return my phone and start the process over. They did offer me a free case or screen protector for the inconvenience which was nice of them.

Happy to hear your problem was resolved!

Nice to see it resolved. That said, the Citizens website takes DAYS ... and I mean DAYS to show activity. When a payment failed (even though there was no reason for it to), I called in, made the payment on the phone and had them re-setup automatic payments, it took half a week for it to show on the website.
