I predict the "iPad mini" will be 2048x1536, not 1024x768, as some rumors have claimed.
This would give it a DPI of 326, the same as the iPhone 5.

I would also venture a guess that they will update the MBA's alongside the MBP 13 to similarly match current DPIs.

These changes would create some resolution unification and provide some new areas for production consolidation, which :apple: has been prone to work towards.

What do you think?

Nice chart but if you're referring to Windows Surface RT it has a resolution of 1024x768, not 1920x1080.

Thanks.

I got that right from Microsoft's website. I was thinking of the Microsoft Surface with Windows 8 Pro.

The Microsoft Surface with Windows RT does not have 1024 x 768 as you claim. It is 1366 x 768.

I've updated the spreadsheet to include the RT model.

I think there will be two variants of the "mini" -- one retina and one not retina. I also think it will be called the iPad Air, or maybe just iPad (7.8 inch).

Good one. iPad air... hmm it would jive with the current laptop pro/consumer differentiation.
