I've deleted pics in i photo and Facebook but only wanted them off i photo

hi guys i think I've put this thread in the right bit if not sorry.

I've deleted pics from my iPhoto as my g/f had used my macbook pro and some how linked it to her Facebook. i delete the pics from iPhoto and emptied the trash as i thought they would juts be removed from my mac turns out I've removed every album from her Facebook i had no idea it would do this.

is there anyway to get it back i have been backing up my mac via time machine to an external hard drive so could i just restore to an earlier date?

sorry I'm new to the mac world please help me.

Hm...I'd be interested in knowing if this is the case. If it's not on your hard drive, it's not on FB??? I thought FB was a good external storage device.
