I've got a New MacBook Pro ... is it a Good Specs?

Just today i received my new MBP with following spec

2.33 Duo core 2
120 GB Hard Disk
2 GB RAM

is it good specs, is there is better than this ?

You know the specs are fine...are you honestly asking a question or just bragging about your new purchase? It's a nice machine, you'll do fine with it for years to come.
 
Thank you gauchogolfer ... its just question to know if i bought the right machine ... its my first time to buy a Mac ...
 
easy golfer;) he or she just joined in the last 2 days, don't scare them. and since they did just join i would take that as a sign that they might not be barging compared to someone on here who has many posts and been singed up a while, and then decides to ask a question like the one posed.

Yes its a good machine, however you should already know its good because of the product research you did before you spent 2,000.

Looking back, you're probably right, I should have gone a bit easier.

First of all, welcome someone to MR, I hope you enjoy your stay. You have a nice machine, and I assume it will be able to handle anything you throw at it.

I guess I just got the feeling this was one of those "I just bought a new Quad with 8GB of RAM, is it a good machine?" type threads. Sorry for the overreaction. :)

Sure. You could have upgraded the hard drive to 160GB or 200GB and you could have upgraded the RAM to 3GB (or even 4GB but that's another story)
 
I think you could do better. To that end, you should give it to me and I'll send you $100 toward your purchase of a better one. Sound good? ;)
