and i can honestly say i love it. i am the first converter from my family, and i have a feeling that i wont be the last. But i have one question. I have a lot of documents, pictures, music, etc. on my old PC, and i am wondering how to get them off using my network. i know i could just use a flash drive but that would take a while. How can i just access my other computer's HD through the network?

  • In Windows go to My Computer
  • Right click "Local Disk C"
  • Click "Sharing and Security".
  • Click the Sharing bar at the top.
  • Click the linked text which says "Click here".
  • Tick "Share this folder on the network".
  • Finally, click Apply.

After you do this, open Finder and after a short moment the windows computer will appear under "Shared". You can now go in and browse through its files and copy whichever ones you want over to your macs hdd.
