Well wasn't sure if this would work but it did! I recently bought a battery case for my iPhone 7 plus on amazon. Loved how it gets me thru 1-2 full days but wasn't very protective

I switched to an otterbox defender case because got little kids. But I missed that extra battery.

So what's a guy to do??

So took the base of battery case with iPhone ( pic1)

Put the plastic cover from otterbox and put on top of phone (took out plastic screen protector and have a tempered glass on. Pic 2)

Pic three shows otterbox rubber outer shell

Pic 4 shows everything in that shell. It was a tight fit but fits well. With rubber going all around the plastic covering

Now got both of both worlds. Protective and grippy case and battery case with a 4880 maH battery.

Downsides. I can turn off and on the case by pushing the back but can't see the LED lights haha. And apple logo is now covered and doesn't show thru the case but that's small sacrifices
