5 mins in the shower. Held up great. After seeing the iFixit tear down, Apple clearly intended for this device to get wet.

Watch out, I've said before it maybe water resistant but watch out for condensation, specifically underneath the watch on the sensors. However should it ever happen Apple have stated it falls under their warranty
