I am new to Mac and video - I have a 5 min clip that is mpeg1 - I imported it into IVideo5 (new Mac) - did a bunch of stuff with it. I need to output it (ie. make a movie - share) in a format that I can then use on a VCD and stream - what format should I use? I picked mp4 but that isn't readable by any of my conversion software -

Thanks for any help -

First off WELCOME , take it you mean iMovie so you had a mpeg 1 and you have imported it into imovie and now you wanna make it into a VCD -

well lots of ways you can do this but the best and simple way is to bang it out as a Mpeg and bang it into TOAST

does what it says on the tin and very well - i have not used version 7 yet but many would say it's the best way , some may not.

thanks and more

Thanks much - I will look into toast. However, I need to move the files to a windows environment - a long story ....

So I need a way to convert the h.264 (mov) format to mpeg on a WindowsXP box -

Thanks-

Cindy
