And your source for the date is? Also, the release of Ivy Bridge does not mean that Apple will update MBPs immediately. Sandy Bridge was released on January 6, but Apple did not update MBPs until February 24. At first, we will see quad core IVB so if Apple needs dual core CPUs too, the release is pushed to May.
