Why are people making a big deal out of this?

Clearly the video showed that the watch ends are removable. So you can remove and switch the ends and problem solved.

However my personal feelings towards the watch is yes apple have created an excellent product, and I am absolutely sure it has the solid feel of all apple products and Im sure the crown works just as well as advertised. Apple are very good for things like this like the scroll wheel in the original ipod for example.

However, I at this point probably will not be getting iwatch for a couple of reasons. Firstly I like to wear a swiss made watch, they are the best watches in the world, the look good and they are the BEST made, apple cannot and will not ever match the build quality of swiss made watches (rolex, tag heure, omega, breitling, rado, cartier, raymond weil) - Apple simply does not have the research to match these time pieces who have centuries of work. And iwatch is a bulky looking device.

Secondly the features disappoint, because there is nothing it can do that my iphone 6 Plus will not do. And the only reason why I was considering buying it is because of the sports functionality, the rumours suggested it was HEAVILY sports and fitness based, but it has disappointed. The sensors are used for things like notifications. And of course, it would never had detected things like blood pressure and blood sugar otherwise the medical industry would have paid apple billions for the rights.

So overall I would say apple watch will be a well built device, not as solid as a swiss made watch though, and will run like all apple devices do, which is well. However for me it will not be worth spending the amount of money for pretty much everything my iphone can already do, and better.
