Has anyone gotten iweather on 4.2.1 to not display a black background or how is this fixed? I searched and found one thread where it was said to move the wallpaper i wanted to use to the theme folder and rename it Wallpaper.png. If I do it this way the wallpaper shows up but the size is not right. It zooms into the top left corner of the image it seems. Any help is much appreciated!

Since going to 4.2.1 i've had to edit various Lock screens/widgets etc etc and this method works on them and with this.

With iFile I put the various wallpapers i use in with the iWeather theme file.

Open the 'Wallpaper.html' file in iWeather and straight away look for 'image:url'.it will say "/private/var/mobile/Library/Springboard/HomeBackground.jpg"

Change the above to "/var/stash/Themes######/iWeather/then put the full name of your wallpaper here including the .jpg/.png.

Close iFile and respring.

You can also do all this via WinSCP.

Could anyone help me with the Fahrenheit or Celsius in iWeather? I changed it to ' true ' so I would get Celsius but it keeps giving me Fahrenheit

** nvm it's working now **

Fix for iweather background issue

First off...you will need iFile for this. I'm under the assumption that you do.
Go to "var/stash/themes/iweather widget/wallpaper.html"
Tap on "text viewer"
At the bottom of the first page, you'll see "background"
Tap on "edit"
Change "HomeBackground" to "HomeBackgroundThumbnail"
Tap on "save"
Tap on "Done"
Exit and respring

Should be perfect!
Good Luck!
