After installing iWeb '08 and doing a Domain conversion (there's now a file called Domain in my User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder), I found that iWeb 08 created a whole new website instead of updating the one I created with iWeb 06. The new site has a slightly different URL and...most annoying...looks ugly. There are now black rectangles around all non-rectangular shapes. Take a look at this before and after comparison:
This is how one of my pages, created with iWeb '06, is supposed to look:
http://web.mac.com/pweisz/iWeb/PetersPortfolio/TheVideoVault.html
Here's how the new page looks after I tried to add an element with iWeb '08:
http://web.mac.com/pweisz/PetersPortfolio/TheVideoVault.html
You will note that the new '08 URL is missing one directory level (iWeb) compared to the original iWeb '06 URL.
Obviously I would like to be able to update my existing site, created by iWeb '06, using iWeb '08 rather than having two different sites. I would also like to know how to get rid of those ugly black rectangles.
I use this site professionally for my business, so I would be very grateful for any prompt assistance anyone could offer.
Thank you,
