iWeb '09 dont let me edit things

Hello, i have iWeb '09 and i have been making a website, but im at the stage where im using the google maps widget to show where i am but from all the guides i see when i drag it into the page i am ment to get a black box showing the address ect and being able to see the map. but when i do this all i get is a white outline of my box and no map or little black editing box.

Please can anyone tell me how to get this, its kinda stopping my website from going live.
