iWeb 09: won't publish site although "Test Connection" was successful

As the title suggests, I'm unable to publish my website from iWeb 09.

I have a godaddy hosting account which I activated recently. I entered the appropriate FTP server settings in iWeb and successfully connected to my host using the "Test Connection" option within iWeb.

When I select "Publish Site", iWeb attempts to upload my site after first "preparing" but returns the following error:

Not without knowing what error you were referring to, no.

... Mine doesn't put up an error but it steadfastly refuses to publish even when it joyfully declares the task completed. When publishing to an empty folder it only puts in the main page.....

No Publishing here either...

I also have have had successful "test connections" as well as successful published files. However, it still shows nothing at my domain. ???

Also, how long is it supposed to take to publish the files? Mine's taking near an hour.
