hello,

I am designing my own webiste, and I am having trouble attaching a slideshow I made on imovie to my website. everything looks fine on my side until I post/publish it to the server. then I get a white box with the Quicktime Q in it.

Is this because I didn't post to .mac?

thanks,

Doug

not that I have noticed, by the way I am using iweb '06 version. It does look different from a PC to my mac though.

How large is the file with your slide show? I posted a video on my website and it takes a while to load it.

I did it two ways: One was just a regular .mov and I also tried to save it as a quicktime movie, got the same results. the .mov version is pretty big, but the computer gives no indication that it is downloading anything. It says "Done" at the bottom of the page.

Thanks,

Doug

It will load the movie independently from rest on the page. Safari etc. say it's "done" loading the page when all the other elements on the page are complete. Try a smaller test movie (<2mb). It sounds like your file is too big.
