iWeb: And 'Recommend To A Friend' Option

hi,

just wondering if this is somehow possible with iWeb or for that matter, how to create this with another web development app.

i wish to "promote" a happening (which will take place in a month) and i wish to add a link, which states "recommend to a friend".

once the link is clicked, one can type in the email address of a friend and the friend would receive the link to my website.

i hope you guys could point me to a quick link. or teach me how. thanks.

You have to have access to a SMTP server for sending out emails from the web server. I don't believe iWeb has such a feature. I do this type of thing on my feedback page using PHP and my ISP's SMTP. There's plenty of scripts out there that won't even make you code anything yourself. Just do some Google and you'll be on your way.
