Hi, I'm thinking of upgrading to the '06 version of iLife for iWeb (and iPhoto 6) so that I can create a blog about my travels next year.

I want to know if it would be possible to update an iWeb site - photos and blogs - from a PC, or would I have to use a Mac with the iWeb app?

I've checked the Apple site and cannot find any infromation so I'm hoping somebody here can help me.

Thanks, Andrew :)

i think iWeb blogin is HTML based so you would have to publish everytime you made an entry

if you want to blog on the go have a look into Mobloging

or you can use the likes of wordpress or Blogger from the Browser window

( i blog from my o2 XDA Exec to my blogger account via GPRS)

hope this helps - i would also like to see what everyone else does for blogging

The only way that you'd be able to do it would be to upload the iWeb site to a host like Yahoo that allows you to edit the html documents via the web...granted you won't have the ease of iWeb to publish and you'll have to brush up on our html but it can be done.

No, you can't edit it from a PC, unless of course you are willing to edit the HTML files manually.

In my opinion, I think Apple should integrate a 'basic' version of iWeb as an online .Mac service. That would rock.

Thanks for the replies. It looks like iWeb isn't the solution I'm looking for.

That would be ideal!
