So, I opened iWeb today to work on my website, and as soon as it loads up, it crashes. No spinning beach ball, or anything, is just goes boom (to use a Steveism) and dissapears, replaced by a dialog box telling me that "The application, iWeb, has unexpectedly quit". Any thoughts?

Delete any preference files with com.apple.iWeb in them.

Otherwise try renaming the Domain File in ~/Library/Application Support/iWeb (~/ represents your home directory) to Domain-old or something, and see if it now loads, the Domain file contains your website, but that see's whether that is corrupt or something...

If it still happens after doing that send the crash report off to Apple by clicking on "report".

to anyone view the thread later don't delete the preference files straight away, drag them to your desktop first, they may not be causing the problem.
