Not so long ago I made the stupid mistake of
formatting my Macbook Pro without saving my
iWeb files first.

It was great to have a newly formatted Macbook
but I was unable to update my iWeb website and
had to start totally from scratch.

I am now looking to buy a new Macbook.

The old one is having some issues so I am not
certain I can transfer everything over during the
initial install using Firewire.

If I am looking to save all my iWeb files so the
new Macbook instantly brings up the webpages
I created, where on my Macbook should I look?

In other words, what directories do I need to
backup to a hard drive from the old Macbook
and then copy over to the new?

Will iWeb instantly put all the webpage information
back into place?

Thanks, guys in advance, for your help.

Dave,

Thank you so much.

I suspect that as soon as I copy that folder
over to my new Macbook then iWeb will instantly
bring up the pages?

you may have to launch it with the modified site files by opening the "Domain.sites" file directly from Finder, as if you solely open iWeb, it may still open the older/original file.
