hello,
Can someone explain how to get rid of the meta refresh that iweb creates on the index page. In other words, How do I remove that silly index page with the meta refresh and replace it with my actual top or home or welcome page? (whatever you want to call it) . Just like a normal website. I am told that the meta refresh is not search engine friendly and prevents many iweb sites from moving up in the rankings.
My site is www.landscapingcalgary.org
Thanks !!

You can't change that - it's a limitation of iWeb. I found that highly annoying as well, hence why I switched to RapidWeaver by RealMac Software.

ya I kinda am in the same situation I just made a website on iWeb and had the same question and a few others. as for this one as far as i can find out its a thing with the sever you are using, but i didn't look that much into it so it could be a problem with iWeb as wrldwzrd89 was saying. your site looks really good. similar to mine because we used the same black template. mine is at http://hockeyteamhistory.limewebs.com

I like your site too, neat topic.
Also, how long did you have your site up before google accepted you for adsense?

I wish there was a way to fix this url problem though.

Does anybody have ideas?

I had signed up for adsense before I had even uploaded the site so im not really sure how long it took for it to verify my account. probably a few days.

All you have to do is in iWeb go to: file --> set up google adsense account and you dont need a URL to sign up just a gmail account.
where did you get the HTML for the twitter and fbook links?

i searched, use these basic codes:

Facebook:

<a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/Epic-Xbox-Reviews/132562396759963" TARGET="_blank"><img src="http://www.buttonshut.com/Facebook-Buttons/facebook1.gif" title="Facebook Buttons By ButtonsHut.com" alt="Facebook Buttons By ButtonsHut.com" width="153px" border="0"/></a><br /><a </a>

Twitter:

<a href="http://www.twitter.com/epicxboxreviews" title="Follow us on Twitter"><img src="http://s.twimg.com/a/1276563079/images/business/follow/follow_twitter_button_b.png" alt="Follow us on Twitter" /></a>

edit the url with your personal one instead of mine
