iWeb/Mobile Me - dead end?

I have a website on mobileme, and traffic is slowly but surely increasing. I don't know crap about web design (which is obviously why I'm using iLife). Am I 'locked in' to mobileme/iLife or is there a way to take my whole site out and copy it to a different host with higher bandwidth/speed then Apple/Mobile Me? If I continue further down this path I'll kind of be hosed.

Is it time to just start over now with a new host? Or, will there be an upgrade path when the time comes?

Have you looked into the "publish to folder" option in iWeb? I'd imagine you could then upload the files to a new host.
