first off, I have everything I need (Me and Ilife family pack, multisite, and Iwebsites demo, Godaddy.com's, and domain names set up in my 2 email Me Email accounts, all on the same computer.)
okay, my first site works fine. The problem is trying to get the 2nd online. Messing around with the Iwebsites demo I posted my site, so I thought, but when I type in the .Com I am asked for my Idisk name and password? Is this a Iwebsite problem? I have not tried the Multisite to publish yet. I am moving and spending limited time at night just trying to figure out the 2 programs to figure this out.
This is what I have been doing. I have been logging out of my normal .Me account (I had .Mac before, but got family Me, it all works fine online, set up the domain on my 2nd and all) now when I go to Godaddy I set up everything the same as my 1st site in Total DNS) I thought if they were the same, except the .com name it would be fine. Then I publish it and like I said I get that password question as soon as I type in my .com.
Before I go further, in godaddy do I have to change it to Web.Me.com, or can I still use Web.Mac.com? since my first site uses and still works with Web.Mac.com I think it would be fine.
The new page is a trial, all i did was pick a template and one page, thats all to make it quick and simple to figure this out. The Idisk thing is just messing with me up big time. Even when I put my info in it did not work.
I plan to try Multisite next, I just had Iwebsites demo from awhile ago and I thought I would try that first.
Since everything is published online I would think I dont need to be logged into Iweb with each site I intend to use, just switch and "publish".
The only thing I can think of at the moment is the Idisk? but still makes no sense to me. I really want to get the page going because I want to get a resume on one and my small business is my main page.
If anyone can help with anything Apple could have changed since .Me or whatever I could be doing wrong would be great!!!! I am frustrated beyond belief.
Also if you have more then 1 site up with .Mac or Me I would love to Email chat if you would be so kind.
