This will be vague and possibly of no use to you but I've only just started to use iWeb...

When you have your page in the design window, can't you check "do not include this page on the nav bar" on the little floating window? Would this allow you to contriol what goes in your window and what doesn't?

I'm at work so writing this from memory and I've only been using iWeb for a day so apologies if it's no use.

^^ That's exactly the way to do it. Just deselect the 'show in nav bar' box. Then, you can add links to the 'hidden' pages from your main photos and movies page. I've done this on my own page, and it works fine.

BTW, that 'little floating window' is called the Inspector :)

Okey, I got the underpage away from the navigation bar. But how do I link?

What I want to do is to have "Gallery" in the navigation bar, then have thumbnails that links to underpages like "Vacation", "Macro" etc...

Thanks.

Put the pictures onto the Gallery page to be used as thumbnails. Then, select the picture, go to the inspector->hyperlinks . You can assign the link to any page you like, on your site or offsite.

I see that you want to make the same thing as I did in my iWeb site on this page http://www.exan.h11.ru/Site/Gallery.html

To assign a link to an image/other_object, in the inspector window in the Link tab, check "Enable as hyperlink" and type the necessary address/choose from your iWeb pages :)

I speak this out of memory, so the exact phrase might be different.

The weird thing is that it's hidden. Like I am not allowed to link anything

Have you already created the pages? Even if the pages aren't there, you should be able to test it by linking to an external site.

I figured it out ;)
This rules in a very cool kind of way!
