iWeb photo uploading problems

Hi everyone,
I havent encountered this problem before but when trying to upload images to my photo page by dragging fromt he desktop, the photos won't pop into the photo organizing window. Instead they appear over the top of the photos like a randomly inserted photo. I can't figure out how to rectify this. Any help would be appreciated.
