iWeb startup error----please help!

Hello all,

This morning I updated my 1.8 MacBook Air to 10.6.2 and updated iTunes.

I then tried to open iWeb and got the error message "iWeb quit unexpectedly quit while using the SFWordProcessing plugin." iWeb won't open at all now.

If anybody out there has any idea how to fix this, please help. I'm a teacher, in the middle of class, and really need to update my website!

Hello all,

I did a little research and found that others are now having trouble too.

The problem seems to be with the Hoefler font. If one goes into the font book and disables the Hoefler font, then all is well. iWeb will open.

The only problem is, any pages that you used Hoefler in are now screwed up. And, I used Hoefler alot! Arghh!

Rise to the occasion people and let Apple know that they've screwed up and we need a patch!

You're not joking. I just updated both of my computers this morning!

So now, I'm trying to decide whether to wait on a fix from Apple, or go back and change all of my Hoefler Fonts to something else, a very time consuming job!

Arghhhh!
