iWeb transfer (hard drive is gone)

I built a website using iWeb. Then, I uploaded it to my personal domain using Fetch. My macbook hard drive died over the weekend. I was able to mirror the files into a folder using fetch.
Is there a way to open the files in iWeb? Or any other way to get my previous iWeb work through fetch/website?

Not directly, iWeb cannot import a web site. You will have to recreate the site in iWeb by copying and pasting the text and images from the website, and recreate any links you had set up.

Pardon me for stating the obvious, but for the price of a cheap external drive, Time Machine would have saved the day for you.
