iWeb without MobileMe?

Can I build a website with iWeb then upload it without having to use MobileMe? I have a MobileMe account but I would rather not have it hosted there.

Yes, you can publish the iWeb site to a folder then upload that folder to any web server you like.

However, I think that some features may only be possible when using MobileMe as the host.

It should work with any Hosting Co provided you have an account and the proper url, username, password etc.
