I just installed iWork 08 on my TiBook in light of the fact that 09 will never work on a Rage128. I have updated to the latest version, and am running Leopard with all updates applied. I click on Pages to open, the Apple menu options load up, the template chooser fails to load, and when I click File>New>Blank Document, everything freezes up. Anyone have suggestions?
[doublepost=1456201694][/doublepost]After doing a bit of research, I found that iWork '08 also requires Quartz Extreme, which the ATI Rage 128 lacks, to run. After looking around at various hackintosh forums, I found a solution! Open the Pages resource folder, by right clicking the icon>show package contents>contents>resources>open defaults.plist, once that file is open, hit edit>find and search for canvas. Canvas will only come up one time, looking under the string, you will notice something that says "true" change it to false, save and exit. Pages 08 should now work on a Rage 128 based Mac!
