IWork 08 - Numbers - vertical text in cells

Is it possible to have text running vertically in a cell in Numbers? I have looked everywhere for the answer and it doesn't seem possible. I can align text vertically, but in this particular case, I need to have the text running vertically in cells.
Any ideas?

Couldn't you enter all of the number in a cell, separated by a space. Then, narrow the cell until it is forced to display each number on a separate line.

Is this what you wanted it to look like?
