iWork 09?

Hi,

I want to buy iWork 08, but I am wondering if a new version is going to be announced in a few weeks. And I don't want to spend the money twice.

Will there be a iWork 09 or are they going to skip 09 and release a new version in 2010?

I haven't heard any rumours about iLife recently - nobody outside of Apple knows when the updates are going to happen.

MacRumors on iWork - have a look through that list if you like, but I haven't spotted anything very recent/relevant to this update.

My guess is that we'll see iWork '09 & iLife '09 at Macworld San Francisco in January.

Macworld should definitely see a new iLife and iWork. It will be 18 months since the previous release, and we've already seen Steve demoing a bunch of new effects with his keynotes. Numbers will be greatly enhanced while Pages and Keynote will get minor upgrades.
