I have this numbers document i want to share with some friends.
I also own a domain name: www.myname.com
what i want is to do the following:
myiworkdoc.myname.com
i can manage sub domains on my domain registrar's web site, so when i upload a file and get a
iwork.com/lkfjgkj;gjs;gljfg;lj etc...
link i can setup so
mydoc1/myname.com ---> iwork.com/mydoc1.- fdglkjdflgkjdlkgj
now if i upload the document as a "Public" file this works, as the link is generic (non unique), but if i do this i dont seem to have the ability for people to add comments and notes.
Therefore I guess i need to upload it as a shared file, with unique links, but im guessing this means i cant have a single re-directing URL.
Help anyone?
Thanks
p.s.
dont think i made tis clear above.
the goal is to have a single url to send to my friends so they can all view the document easily.
but i also want each one to be able to add comments etc..
can they not each have apple logins, and i make it a private document and then have a single link that they have to login to their respective apple id accounts to see?
