iWork Discount Question

Hi, I'm thinking about buying the base 13" Macbook Pro. I would like to get iWork with it, and need some help/advice.

There is a $30 discount (I'm in Canada) if you buy it with the mac, but it is only giving me the option of having it pre-installed at that price. The terms and conditions say that the discount applies to the boxed version as well, but the discount is not applied when I add it to my cart or try to check out. Is there a solution to this or should I just go pre installed?

Why not get it preinstalled? I'm sure it comes with some kind of documentation in case something happens to your computer so you can get another copy.

In the United States, one gets the disks even if the software is preinstalled...

Yeah I went pre installed, didn't seem to matter after i read some more detailed info on it.

Even though it's preinstalled, you should still get a disc (not a full retail box, but a "drop in" disc) in the box when it arrives.
