i have an older mac mini running 10.6.8 i just acquired and older mac pro running 10.6.8 i want to transfer my working version of iwork from my mac mini to my mac pro. I tries just copying the whole iWork folder from my Mini to the Pro but it wont run. Any thoughts?

Re-install from the disc or re-download from the App Store.

The App Store says you need to be running 10.7 or higher.

Then a re-install from your original iWorks dvd is the only option if you still have it.

You could connect the two Macs and try Migration Assistant to move all your stuff to the Mac Pro.

I don't have an original DVD. I originally bought them from the Mac store. I'll try migration assistant.

So the Migration assistant worked for me. I have a new question though:


On my new Mac Mini running 10.8.6 how to I get to the folder containing my Keynote themes?
