I recently received an email from 
, advertising the new Office 2011 suite (which I recently purchased, nice stuff!). People have been talking about a new iWork not being too far away (e.g. some people believe it may launch with the Mac App Store), but surely it wouldn't make sense for Apple to encourage people to buy rival (and for non-students, pricier) software if they were readying themselves for an iWork launch?
Because of this, I'm highly doubtful we'll see an iWork update soon, but that's just me. Seems a bit bonkers to me for them to push Microsoft Office anyway, because a lot of computer users will buy an office suite and will not feel obliged to update for a long time, because after-all, they're quite expensive. Anybody else think this is strange?
