iwork numbers not showing data

Recently had to do a clean install for 10.5.8, imac G5. Reloaded iwork 09 from Time Machine (thank God for back ups!) App opens fine but when I open my saved files nothing shows, although I can see it in the preview? Any help greatly appreciated!:eek:
