I mainly use word and excel because that is what i always used for school but with the integration of iWork and iCloud now, i'm wondering if it is worth switching over?
What are the major differences between the 2? Why use pages over word? Numbers over Excel?

Just looking for some input from experienced users.

Thanks

If you don't need to collaborate with other people on complex Word documents then I would use Pages, because all of the office apps are still pathetically slow.

Numbers will lack a lot of more advanced Excel features... But you should figure out which features you actually use. Odds are Numbers will work out fine, but one never knows.
